About Thomas O'Shea and OK Hit Record Productions

Meet Thomas O’Shea (the Asian with the Irish Name!) Thomas got his start in music with piano at the age of 6, started producing beats at age 13, writing songs at age 14 and hasn’t looked back since. He has experience in many different sides of the entertainment industry, having worked with award winning comedians, magicians, mentalists, drag queens, and musicians who have also been featured on AGT, BGT, Penn and Teller’s Fool Us, Daytime Emmy Awards, and even Ru Paul’s Drag Race. Thomas holds a degree in audio production and music business and a certificate in music composition from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. While in school he produced for artists from around the country, co-founded, wrote and produced for his band Let Them Eat Cake, wrote music using sounds from plastic bottles and other weird non-musical equipment (like TikTok memes), and collaborated with Billboard charting and Grammy nominated producers. Thomas studied solo piano and chamber music with Dr. Eli Kalman, music composition with Dr. Ed Martin and Dr. John Mayrose, and audio production with Nathan Edwards. His solo music has caught the attention of international blogs, magazines, radio stations, and curators.

OK Hit Record Productions LLC
I created OK Hit Record Productions originally as a label to house all of my solo music but then thought "why stop there?" With experience in many areas of the music business, I decided to put all my main interests into the company I created! Through OK Hit Record Productions I will be working (and housing) everything that fits under my audio and production "brand." That includes my production services (like music production, beat making, loop making, and sync licensing for tv, film, video games, and commercials) and audio engineering services (including recording, mixing, mastering, and live sound).
Music is more than just a passion or a job for me, it's a part of me. I hear music in everything (hence making music with plastic bottles), I'm constantly listening to music, and I'm always excited to talk about music and learn something. I want to inspire people to be excited about music like I am, and I want to make something meaningful with my art. With OK Hit Record Productions, my hope is to educate, inspire, and show how important music is to society. Music and entertainment isn't just about the music or entertainment anymore- it's about the feeling that comes with it. Feelings are why we do anything in life, and I want to be able to connect to people by making them feel something. So let's create something together!
